Keeping it clean
« on: September 21, 2016, 06:28:27 AM »
I picked this is up from another owner who indicated he keept his clean when he supercharged.  What a neat idea and do it every time unless it is too hot!  A small squirt bottle and microfiber towel (Costco) and presto around the car in a very short time.  Bugs gone and looks great.  Wheels are the worst and towel gets real black.  Hand washing almost gets it back to new.

Black trim begins to turn grayish and have used bumper black.  Works great but needs repeating every few months.  Sets the car off.

A bit of exercise during charging keep you fresh.

Wonderful tip.  Never thought of it.  Yes, my black bumpers also turn gray after a while.  I also find that automated car washes do not clean the area under the rear spoiler.  Matte black plastic areas show fingerprints so quickly.  Also the metal door handles.  I imagine these could wear down over time.
